What is UKLancer.com
UKLancer is an online freelancer marketplace and management platform that provides a convenient way to hire, manage, and pay individuals no matter where they are located. Hiring managers can post jobs and hire from thousands of ranked and certified service providers for time-based work or fixed-price projects. UKLancers website empowers users to manage providers as if they were in the same office, and verify and pay only for actual work performed.

What is a Buyer?
A Buyer is a person or company that needs a service from a provider, that could mean that they need a logo for their company letterhead or website it could also mean they have a project that they cannot complete themselves. We can help you find highly skilled Freelance Programmers, Web Designers and Copywriters etc etc at the best possible price.

What is a Provider?
A provider is a freelancer that can provide a service to a Buyer that has posted a project on UKLancer.com, they will receive money for the completed project when the Buyer is happy with the project.

How do I sign up for a Buyer account?
Click the Signup button on the navigation bar then in the Buyer section click the signup button then follow the onscreen instructions. It�s that simple!!

How do I sign up for a Provider account?
Click the Signup button on the navigation bar then in the provider section click the signup button then follow the onscreen instructions. It�s that simple!!

Does it cost a Provider to complete a project?
Yes there is a small cost of for UKLancer.com for bringing buyer and provider together. The cost is 10% of the bid which is accepted.

How can I manage my account?
One signed up, click on the �Manage Account� tab. Here is where all your account activity i.e. projects and money transfers etc are stored and can be updated.

How do I edit my profile?
Login to your account. Click Edit Profile, Follow instructions from there.

How do I deposit money to my account?
Login to your account. Click Deposit. Click Deposit money. Follow instructions from there. We are currently only accepting PayPal.

Does it cost to deposit money?
We charge a small amount to cover PayPal�s charges to us which covers the cost of this. The Charge is 3.4% plus �0.20.

Does it cost to withdraw money?
No. This completely free of charge.

How do I withdraw money from my account?
Login to your account. Click Withdraw money, Follow instructions from there.

How do I Transfer money from my account?
Login to your account. Click transfer money, Follow instructions from there.

How do I Upgrade my account?
We are currently not running an upgrade service but watch this space.

How do I escrow money to a provider?
Login to your account. Click Escrow Money. Follow instructions from there. Please note that you must have money in your account before you can make an escrow payment.

Can I make a payment in advance?
We highly recommended not to pay in advance. If you decide to make payment before a project or part of job is completed, you will be responsible for any loss of moneys. There's a free escrow system on our site. You're encouraged to use the escrow system and release funds from the escrow when job is completed.

How do I cancel an escrow payment?
As a buyer you can't cancel an escrow payment. If the project is not successful you should ask your provider to cancel your escrow payment as the monies are held in this holding account until both parties are happy. If the provider will not cancel, then you should contact UKLancer at support@uklancer.com

How do I cancel my account?
For security measures you need to send us a message through our online support form and we will help you with this. But remember to make that if you have negative balance you're to make a deposit to cover it.
